Camille's Restaurant Reviews Key West is one of my all time favorite vacation spots and I recently discovered Camille's Restaurant on Simonton Street there. I will definitely be going back next time I'm in Key West! It's right near Duval Street and the hotels, so you can shop all day and head over to Camille's when you're ready for a break. It's nice and comfortable and even though I'd never been before I felt right at home. I love the decorations, especially the "making bacon" statue they have. It's also only a few blocks from the water, so you can stroll in that direction after eating to work off some of the calories and enjoy the view. The menu is huge and they've got new specials every day. This is especially nice if you end up going more than once during your vacation. I saw a bunch of locals eating there too which is always a good sign, especially since there are so many cute place to choose from in Key West. One of the best things about it was the price, since Key West can be pricey. Breakfast is usually around $10 - though if you're feeling indulgent you can go a little over (OMG the white chocolate French toast! I'm now inspired to try it at home) - and you can order it until 3 if you're the sleep in type. Lunch is just as cheap, and will fill you up. Dinner is only a little more than that and you can have a great meal with fresh ingredients for less than $25. They offer vegetarian options and great fish dishes. There's even an Atkins menu. The lunch menu when I was there had a veggie burger with grilled Portobello in it that was really tasty and the stone crab claws for dinner were so, so good. I noticed crab cakes on the menu too, which I'm saving to order next time I'm there. Key Lime Pie, one of my favorite desserts, is a perfect way to finish off the meal. If you've never had Key Lime Pie Camille's is a great place to try it. They've got a full bar if you want a drink with dinner. Overall a great little restaurant no matter what time of day you go, with great food and a friendly staff.
