Old Customs House Inn Reviews A few of my friends and I just got home from a great vacation to Key West Florida! We were looking for something that was close to the main part of Duval Street but not overly priced. That was a hard combination to find. I stumbled on this place simply looking for cheap hotels in Key West on Google. They had the best price for something that was right in the best location for going down to Key West and having a good time. A couple of my friends had been down there before and they said it was really impressive how nice the rooms where and how they had paid a lot more for rooms at nearby hotels. I had done good and found a great place to stay. Key West is an amazing place. There is something for everyone and after a few hours there I could easily tell this place was very different. The laid back vibe is throughout the entire island and it seemed like the attitude and lifestyle of the locals was in a time warp going back to the 70's. Thankfully the hotels and bars have been upgraded, but the people there are really nice and I have never been anywhere quite like it. Other than the 70's reference I really don't know any other way of describing the atmosphere there. Jimmy Buffet does a pretty good job of it. There's no doubt that I will stay here every time I take a vacation to Key West. Unless you want to pay a whole lot more for a room, the Old Customs House Inn is by far the best deal in town for simple clean room within stumbling distance to the bars and boats.
