Lighthouse Court Key West Reviews We had many happy days at the Lighthouse Court in Key West! I found your site looking for cheap hotels in Key West and was going down the list. I didn't want the cheapest place to stay, I just wanted a good deal on the best hotel I could find. I wanted something with a pool and a good location so I wouldn't have to walk very far to the beach or a few good places to eat. I got home a few days ago and I've been meaning to come back here and write a review. What a place! I found the deal I was looking for and while this wasn't the cheapest, it was close enough to the hotels you'd have to sacrifice a little cleanliness for a few bucks of your nightly rates. I have to say that Key west is the place to vacation in the winter time. Even just a little north in Florida was much colder than all the way down at the tip of the southernmost point in the USA. While all my buddies where freezing their tuchas off, I was sitting by the pool and hanging out on the beach! My room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I was really happy with my choice of hotel for home base. I walked down to Sloppy Joes and watched the sunset with my wife every evening. We both had a great time and really enjoyed our vacation from the stress and snow. If you're looking for a quality hotel that has a variety of space to meet your needs and budget, the Lighthouse Court is the best hotel in Key West if you ask me and I'll definitely stay there when I go back next season! The Lighthouse Court is an exceptional bed and breakfast hotel in Key West. The continental breakfast is lovely with fresh fruit and baked goods. There's a great selection of good food compared to even the fancy hotels. The views of the lighthouse are great and really add a lot of charm to the property. We sat out by the pool or in a hammock just relaxing the days away. We ventured down to the beach which is very close by and enjoyed that. The weather was wonderful every day and we chuckled as we watched the weather reports for Pittsburgh during our stay. we got a lot of snow this season and it was brutal. Getting away for a tropical vacation in a warm climate was incredibly refreshing and there is no better time to get away. We had a kitchenette in our room and that contributed to us staying around and was really nice for a few midnight snacks of leftovers. I'm a fan. The location is fantastic with the best restaurants all around the hotel and great shopping is close by on Duval st. We went snorkeling out at the reef one day which was a blast and the we rented jet skis for a tour around the island at sunset. We had so much fun and enjoyed Key West to the point we were planning our next trip down in the summer off season. The deals are great and we've heard the weather is too, it's just not as crowded because it's not snowing up north.
