Southernmost Hotel on the Beach Reviews

My husband and I are Floridians and haven't been to Key West more than twenty years, so naturally, I did a lot of internet research before I made a reservation somewhere. The reviews I found on other websites were all excellent and true to the last word. The Southernmost on the Beach Hotel is a very special place to stay. Take it from someone who here and has been to all the beaches in the State, this hotel truly has it all. This property is immaculately clean and well maintained, the rooms were no exception. They are not massively huge, but adequate and tastefully decorated in an island décor. The staff on board at the Southernmost were are all very friendly and most helpful. The location of the hotel cannot be beat, you are close enough to walk to all of the shops, restaurants and many attractions. Did I mention that you are right on the beach. Don't be a fool by other hotels that advertise that they are on the beach as well, most of them are not directly on the water. Some of them are across the street from the ocean, and the beach is a walk away. We most definitely enjoyed the sunning deck that extends out into the Atlantic ocean with lounge chairs and sunning umbrellas, it was most relaxing. All the hustle is on Duval Street so you can walk to it, but stay quiet at the hotel. I just can't write enough about this hotel, you have to stay there and see it for yourself. They own many other properties and they are all spectacular. If you want a magnificent experience in Key West you should go to the Southernmost Beach Resort, you will never want to check- out! Make sure to visit the homemade ice cream shop across the street, the ice cream is wonderful and delicious.

Just got back from a week stay at the Southernmost Hotel on the Beach in Key West. It was great! It's got to be the best deal for Key West Hotels. The surrounding grounds and many rooms are top notch. Next door you will find a quiet, well kept public beach with a tropical bar. The beds at the hotel are like home, my husband and I slept very well. Great location right on South Street! You will find that the grocery store down the street will keep you stocked for your frig in your room. The pool is tropical, and the staff are very helpful for your needs. They have a great tanning pier that goes out into the Atlantic ocean. You are a ten minute walk from Mallory Square, which is great because experiencing it is easy, et the noise is not. If you want to rent a bike or a scooter you can enjoy the breeze and forgo the exercise. But I recommend a walk instead! I have absolutely no complaints and would happily stay at the Southernmost again!! Thank you for a great vacation Southernmost!!

Please accept our overwhelming compliments of your resort. My wife and I stayed there in mid August for our first real vacation in several years. We already can not wait to get back to Southernmost Beach Resort !!! Your staff at the resort and at the cafe were absolutely OUTSTANDING !!! Your facilities are perfect to go along with the perfect location. We are already planning for a longer stay the next time hopefully again in room 635B--WHAT A GREAT VIEW !!!. We looked into other vacation locations and after this trip we will not be going anywhere else and most likely be back on a yearly basis if at all possible. Again, please accept our sincerest compliments and thank you for making my wife's 50th birthday trip a resounding hit in every way !!! We look forward to seeing Christian and Cindy (at the cafe on your beach) and all your staff again hopefully next year and for many years to come.
