Pilot House Key West Reviews The Pilot House had to be undoubtedly the absolute cleanest and well maintained guesthouse in Key West and maybe anywhere else that I have ever stayed at!! The tropical grounds are immaculate, the rooms are beyond spotless, and the pool is crystal clear and inviting. This was my tenth trip to Key West and my consecutive forth stay at the Pilot House. I cannot see any future trips booked anywhere but at the Pilot House. The guesthouse is just one block from Duval Street. A quick jaunt away from the partying on Duval, yet quiet enough when it is time to call it a night d head home. The Pilot House is the
perfect place to lay out by the pool and let
Key West sun work its magic on
your snow blown person. We absolutely loved this place. We travel all over
the world and are very good at finalizing our plans but when we are planning
a trip, we tend to stay at large resort hotels, what a treat to go outside
of our comfort zone and choose this guesthouse. We really made the right
choice when we booked The Pilot House Guesthouse for our last trip. It is
spectacular, very comfortable and clean. We found the staff to be
friendly and helpful. It was like our own private paradise found. Unlike our
larger hotels, the Pilot Houses' pool, lounge chairs, and hot tub area are
all clothing optional, but wearing your suits are perfectly acceptable. Our
room had a porch where we could sit and read the paper or have cocktails in
the evenings. Breakfast came complete with fresh pastries waiting for us to
indulge in. When we return to Key West, we will be staying at the Pilot
House again. This is our forth stay
at the Pilot House. We've stayed in many different accommodations on the
island in the past. Our room at the Pilot House was extremely clean,
spacious and had a good sized bathroom. The Pilot House is in the most
sought after location, just two short blocks from the best part of world
renouned Duval Street and a few minutes away from Mallory Square night life.
A convenient grocery store is located steps away from the guesthouse so you
can fill your refrigerator and utilize your microwave inside each
room. The guest house is extremely quiet. Even though it was booked
completely up, we rarely see anybody there. The pool is refreshing. The
secluded and rather private hot tub is one of most wonderful amenities of
the property. It is clothing optional but very discreet and tasteful.
Their prices compared to similar properties is a good deal. We will
definitely stay at the Pilot House again. It's a great place.
