Doubletree Grand Key Resort Reviews

Every year we travel with the kids to Key West and this year we decided to try another Hotel through a travel website. I have never booked online before so this was new to us. The price of the Grand Key Resort Key West was in our range as we tried to save some money this year on our hotel and saved 20% with the booking of this resort directly. As soon as we walked in the staff was friendly and helpful, they told us about the some local travel spots and showed us around the resort. I was surprised they did that because the last hotel we stayed never showed us around the hotel. The manager also greeted us at the front desk and let us know if we needed anything or had any problems to call the front desk. I must say I was excited to know they were pet friendly even though we have a small dog the staff didn't mind. The kids loved the pool, it was beautiful, I was told by the kids that they had live music and the staff helped them find their way around the hotel. My kids are teenagers so it was nice to know the staff treated them with kindness. The rooms are a perfect size for a family of 4 and very clean. While on our stay we had a great after noon exploring Key West and we went back to shower and had to call down to the front desk for some extra bath towels, I told my son he would have to wait to shower because I thought it may take 20- 30 minutes to get someone to bring up the towels, but within minutes from the call down to the front desk there was a knock at the door and there was a staff member with extra towels in hand. I couldn't believe how fast the service was and it made me feel like home. They have an all you can eat breakfast which was delicious with fresh fruit and great juices. We enjoyed it so much we made sure to have breakfast every morning as early as possible to get the freshest and hottest plate :) We have planned to go back in a few months and stay at the Doubletree Grand Key Resort again and also have told friends and family about our stay and if they plan on going to Key West to stay here also.
