Chelsea House Key West Reviews

The Chelsea House Key West was the perfect setting for our wedding. We got married and had our honeymooned there for a week. Located towards the Atlantic Oceanside of the island right directly off of Truman and just two blocks away from Duval Street. I suggest renting a bike to get around, or you can do a lot of walking. Getting to the other side each day can take a while if you are detoured into the many shops and bars. Sunset sails, Dry Tortugas, and the Me Fisher Museum were our favorites. We chose to book the Conch Suite. It was really nice and very Key West. The wooden floors, great patio area, and lots of drawer space was a plus. The bathroom was new and came with a hairdryer. Our most favorite spot was the serine, good-sized pool area with a upper level sunning deck. Covered seating areas were available and we used them often so we could pick up the wireless internet signal. Our room was never dirty and had fresh towels all the time. The housekeeping staff were superior. The front desk staff helped with activities often. We will definitely consider staying at the Chelsea House again.

My wife and I have been to Key West five times in our ten year marriage. We have stayed at many of the bed and breakfast accommodations. We booked the Chelsea House sight unseen. And chose the Jr. king suite. We consider it a steal for the price. We had our own private big balcony, a huge well equipped kitchen, nice sitting area, and beautiful tropical decor! The service was simply outstanding! I needed extra hangers for the closet and they were delivered less than five minutes. Everything was very clean, great maid service was provided as well. The pool area was always quiet and relaxing. The Chelsea House also supplies floats and things for their beautiful and well kept pool area. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about The Chelsea House. The unbeatable location is great with no car needed, even though they have some parking. I would definitely suggest walking down to the club Duvall on the beach. This was the best beach area by far out of all the ones we have tried, they even bring you food and drink on the beach! Great place to stay!!
