Casa Marina Resort in Key West, Florida is one of the most fabulous resorts that I have ever stayed at. Casa Marian was everything I expected for the price of the room. The room and grounds were exceptionally clean.
The room had an in-room safe, coffee, iron, blow drier, Ipod station clock and a flat screen television. My favorite features of the room were the fluffy bathrobes, morning newspaper and in-room refrigerator. I took full advantage of the exceptional fitness center and the wireless Internet all over the resort.

There are two pools at the resort with tons of cabanas and chairs. There are also several hammocks, beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach that are perfect to spend the afternoon in. Additionally, so of the cabanas and padded chairs can be rented for the day. Where as the hammocks and other items on the beach are first come first serve. So plan to head to the beach early in the day to get the best spot.

The resort is located within a couple of miles of many key tourist attractions located in Key West including Ernest Hemingway's Home as well as shopping, dining and nightclubs. Casa Marina also features three restaurants onsite that feature a variety of food choices and dining experiences.

There are so many activities to take part in either on site at the resort or within extremely close proximity to the resort. The resort has bicycles and mopeds that guests can rent. Guest can also take deep-sea fishing, dolphin viewing, and scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing and water skiing adventures. For the very active guest, there is a golf course, hiking trails as well as tennis and volleyball courts nearby.

Some guests will be particularly pleased to know that the resort does allow pets for a deposit/fee. The only complaint that I have about the resort is the fairly expensive parking fees related to self parking and the only slightly more expensive fee related to valet parking on site. Yet, it is important to note that a person could easily vacation in Key West, Florida and stay at the Casa Marina Resort without any need to have a rental car to experience all the sites near the resort.
